APPETITE FOR EXHIBITION

Project: HAMHUM Character Design and Mixed Media Exhibition

Curator: ALAN Istanbul

Venue:  Lucca Café-Bistro&Bar

It’s a dog eat dog world out there.

Or a cat eats lobster world, or maybe rather a whale eat donkey world…

Created by Ömer Ozan Erdoğan and Creative Bonanza, curated by ALAN İstanbul,
HAM HUM WAS a character design exhibition of an absurd food chain.
The exhibition was held at Lucca, one of the most popular restaurant-bars in İstanbul.

All the characters were hand sewn by Ömer Ozan Erdoğan, from materials such as jeans, leather and reused fabrics. Other than 3D characters, the exhibition also included framed 2D pieces made out of fabric and similar materials. Every piece and every character in HAM HUM had a name and a story, contributing to the concept of the exhibition. fake

The characters were designed to be separate pieces and form a certain composition which was seven meters in width. Although the pieces were meant to be sold separate, the whole composition was bought by a single art collector.
